3 Team-based Game-Jam projects I have worked on over the past year.
Ferret Felony https://salmoone.itch.io/ferret-felony was a week-long game-jam with the theme "Fluidity". My team and I interpreted that as a game that had a very "fluid-feeling" player, who was a ferret breaking into a museum to steal a diamond. I was responsible for creating some of the assets and animations, as well as both the intro and outro cinematics.
Music by Connor Boyd, Programming by Dylan Saurbrey, UI by Alec Gillespie, other art assets by Sam Kelly and Connor Boyd.
Happy Spacetime Calamity https://benny1102.itch.io/happy-spacetime-calamity was also a week-long game-jam with the theme of "Day One" where you play as the AI of a colony spaceship who's job is to direct the crew in order to keep the ship intact. The gameplay is entirely point-and-click based, relying on small amounts of text to give the player choices in gameplay. I was responsible for the UI animations, UI concepting, and outro cinematic.
Music by Connor Boyd, Programming by Dylan Saurbrey, Narrative design by Benjamin Gaskell.
Impcon One https://salmoone.itch.io/impcon-one was a 48 hour game-jam with the theme's of "Fracture", "Meltdown" and "Input Schism". My team and I set out to make a game where the keyboard controls one game and the mouse controls another. Enemies would run towards the player, occasionally causing cracks to form on the screen, where enemies would then fall through and attempt to steal the controls from the player. I was responsible for environment art and character animations.
Music by Janice Kelly, Character art and UI Art by Sam Kelly, Programming by Dylan Saurbrey and Hana
